(Opinion) Whoever is managing the withdrawal of the ‘garimpeiros’ (gold diggers) from the Yanomami reserve is, in fact, generating a new crisis.
The gold diggers are humble people who are there trying to make a living and have become desperate and are leaving anyway.
The safest way out would be by plane, and the Air Force has authorized a corridor to exit until May 6.
