Mass layoffs at big techs have repercussions in Brazil

The wave of mass layoffs in technology and financial sector companies has reached another Brazilian fintech, the unicorn Neon, which announced cuts in its workforce on Wednesday (15).

The layoffs are estimated to be between 9% and 10% of the company’s payroll.

So far, Neon is the latest Brazilian unicorn to announce a layoff.
