On Saturday morning, a fire reached a room on the sixth floor of the Ministry of Defense building in Brasilia (18). The flames started shortly after 6 am.
The fire and smoke could be seen outside the building, which is located at the Ministries Esplanade. The heat was so intense that the glass of a window burst.
The Fire Department was called, and fighting the fire took about five minutes. The military informed us that the cabinets in the room were totally burned. Nobody was injured.
