Brazil: Justice Moraes frees another 130 people arrested for demonstrations in Brasília

Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Court (STF) granted, on Monday 13, provisional freedom to another 130 men accused of participating in the demonstrations of January 8 in Brasilia.

According to the press office of the STF, the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR) approved granting freedom.

Moraes considered that the prisoners had already been indicted and no longer posed a risk to the process or society at this time to respond to the process at liberty.

In the decisions, the minister imposed preventive measures:
