Brazil celebrates opportunity to sell beef to Mexico

The Brazilian government celebrated yesterday, Tuesday, the opportunity to sell beef to Mexico starting this week, after that country opened its market to the Brazilian product with the authorization of 34 meat processing plants.

The Brazilian Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, said in a press release that the opening of the meat processing plants “is a dream that Brazil has had for more than a decade”.

“This is a historic moment for Brazilian trade relations, especially for beef. Brazil shows the power and greatness of its livestock, and the expansion of markets is becoming a great opportunity . . .
