After a group of senators, Moraes still bans visit to political prisoners in Brasilia

After a group of senators visited political prisoners in Brasilia to investigate allegations of violation of the human rights of the Brazilian Spring protesters detained as a result of the acts of Jan. 8, the Justice of the Supreme Court (STF), Alexandre de Moraes, decided to prohibit the visit of “any persons” to the detained protesters.

According to the magistrate’s decision, only those previously authorized by the rapporteur of the case, himself, will be able to visit the demonstrators.
